There are different units in each house such as mobile vehicle construction, infantry, wind traps and more. The primary objective of the player is to lead his army in the battle, fight against another force and take down them to conquer their land, and loot their resources. The player can harvest spice using the game currency can use the Solaris to create units to supply his armies. In the beginning, the player needs to control one of three houses and has to fight against enemies to control the spice mélange on the fictional planet called as Dune or Arrakis. There are up to three factions available such as House Ordos, House Harkonnen and House Atreides and four non-player sub-factions such as the Mercenaries, the Smugglers, the Fremen and House Corrino. The game has an exciting gameplay based on the Dune Universe of Frank Herbert and offers the similar game to Dune II. Dune 2000 is a 1998 Real-time Strategy, Single and Multiplayer video game by Intelligent Games and published by Electronic Arts.
